University of Windsor Alumni Field Stadium 

2555 College Ave. Windsor, Ontario, N9B 3P4

Ages:  Girls Only 10-15 years old (Grades 5-9)

Objective: To introduce girls to track and field skills.  To create an atmosphere of inclusion, foster self-esteem, introduce girls to successful female role models and to provide information on female body image. To provide athletes with a nutritious and healthy dinner. Note: The “physical literacy “ skills learned from this camp can be applied to all other sports.

Cost: $5 Per Athlete

Registration:  Limited to 90 Athletes

Schedule

Registration: 12pm-12:30pm

Team Building:  12:30pm-1pm

Activities: 1pm -4pm

Group Session: 4-5pm

Topics include Body Image, Females with exceptionalities, Athlete success and Nutrition

Dinner: 5pm-5:30pm

Healthy dinner provided 

Track Meet: 6pm-Onward

Athletes invited to stay afterward with parents to watch Windsor Open track and field meet
